I'm honoured and excited to be taking part in the Live ARZone Guest Chat on Saturday 9 June (for my US and UK friends) which is Sunday morning (!) 10 June here in Australia.
"What is this guest chat thing?" I hear you ask. Well, here's the info from the FaceBook event:
ARZone is pleased to announce Leigh-Chantelle as our next Live Chat Guest, on Saturday June 9 (US), Sunday June 10 (Au)
Leigh-Chantelle is the founder and creator of the online vegan community, Viva La Vegan!; the environmental awareness group, Green Earth Group; she co-ordinates Social Media Marketing, and is an accredited Naturopath, Nutritionist and Western Herbalist.
Over the past 15 years, since Leigh-Chantelle has been an eco-feminist vegan, she has been involved as a sponsor, performer, emcee, speaker and stallholder for various animal rights, vegan and cruelty-free fundraisers, organisations, festivals and events throughout Australia and overseas. She has also been working to bring about an awareness of social media and online etiquette skills, along with educating others on how best to communicate online.
Leigh-Chantelle, who lives mostly in sunny Brisbane, Australia, has been busy writing and compiling upcoming books, including What Do Vegans Eat? This is a scrapbook-style book based on a presentation she gave, and is also one of her most popular videos on the VLV! YouTube channel.
Leigh-Chantelle has been recognised by Supreme Master Ching Hai for her work on behalf of other animals, the planet and for her promotion of the vegan lifestyle.
Leigh-Chantelle welcomes the opportunity to engage ARZone members on a range of topics, including her extensive vegan advocacy work, her efforts to educate others on environmental issues, her new book, What Do Vegans Eat?, and her philosophies in general.
ARZone is supportive of education, critical thinking, rational discourse, and aims to provoke intelligent dialogue about issues that most concern members of the animal advocacy movement. ARZone does not endorse or promote the views of its guests and forum participants; ARZone does endorse and promote creative education efforts.
